People
We hold the prestigious international Investors in People
accreditation, which sets out good practice for improving an
organisation's performance through its people.
Quality
We were one of the first companies in Britain to be awarded the
ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard, having been awarded previous
versions of this accreditation since 2002. We also hold the
Investors in Excellence standard, awarded by the British Quality
Foundation.
Sustainability
In 2004 we were one of the first Island companies to be awarded
the highly coveted ISO14001 environmental standard. We continue to
maintain this through regular independent audits and reviews of our
environmental procedures and performance.
Accuracy
We were the world’s first operator to gain BABT approval for the
accuracy of our billing across fixed, mobile and broadband.
Security
We’re proud to hold the international information security
standard ISO 17799.
Data Centre Security
Our Douglas North Data Centre is
accredited to ISO/IEC 27001, the most rigorous security standard
anywhere in the world. Ours is the only data centre in the Isle of
Man with this accreditation, and Manx Telecom is one of only three
Island companies to hold it.
