Manx Telecom Broadband utilises Asymmetric Digital Subscriber
Line (ADSL2+) for superfast Internet access. ADSL2+ uses your
existing telephone line for data communications in parallel
with your regular telephone voice services.
With Broadband you can surf the Internet, download music,
pictures and movies, play online games, keep in touch with
friends and family using email or instant messaging and use the
telephone at the same time.
All new, non Ultima, Broadband connections will be
provisioned with ADSL2+ giving up to 16Mb/s downstream and up to
832Kb/s upstream speeds.

coverage.

Equipment
You must have an ADSL2+ compatible router to connect. Broadband
modems are not compatible.
We can provide a free ADSL2+ router with many of our Broadband

Installation
ADSL2+ Broadband is a Wires-Only service meaning there is no
need for an engineering visit to install. Once ordered, we will
send you plug-in filters to install in your phone socket. No need
to arrange to be home for installation, simply do it in your own
time.
Broadband Made Easy
