Availability
Manx Telecom has made a significant investment to provide Ultima
to all 12 telephone exchanges and 26 Fibre to the Cabinet nodes
around the Island.
Your line must be 2KM or less in length to be able to receive
Ultima.

Equipment
You will need a VDSL compatible router to benefit from the new
higher speeds. We can offer a FREE pre-configured Netgear dual
2.4GHz and 5GHz gigabit Wireles N router or a fully managed premuim
wired Cisco VDSL router which is maintained and updated by Cisco
certified Manx Telecom engineers.
Installation
An engineering visit is required to install all Ultima services.
A Manx Telecom engineer will visit your property and convert a
socket ready for Ultima, there is no need for any plug-in
filters.
Whether we post you a FREE pre-configured Netgear router or our
engineer brings the managed Cisco router you can rest assured that
you'll be connected quickly and with the best Ultima speed
possible.
Ultima installation is currently available during normal working
hours Monday to Friday.
