On Island Usage

You pay a monthly subscription for the BlackBerry Solution of £12.77 (£15.32 inc 20% VAT). This includes 2GB of data to use on the island and if you go over this allowance it is only £0.01p per MB thereafter. Blackberry email allows you to send and receive email; read attachments; wireless synchronisation of calendar, tasks and address book; web browsing via the BlackBerry browser and access to mobile applications are all included in the monthly subscription. So, it's easy to budget and control your costs.*

BlackBerry Data Roaming Prices

Additional charges apply if you use your BlackBerry device abroad. You can either Pay as You Roam or add a ‘bolt on’ which will be very cost effective if you are frequently roaming in our Zone 1 (UK, Ireland and Channel Islands) or traveling and roaming anywhere in the world.

Pay-as-you-use Roaming

If you are going to occasionally use your device outside the UK your data roaming usage will be based on Manx Telecom’s standard roaming charges.  You don’t have to register or do anything; roaming charges will be automatically applied as you use your device.

Bolt On - Zone 1 Roaming

An additional monthly subscription of £1.70 (£2.04 inc 20% VAT) to cover all BlackBerry data roaming usage in the UK, Rep. of Ireland and the Channel Islands. This is a 12 month minimum subscription and the charge will apply whether you roam in Zone 1 or not during the month.**

Bolt On - Global Roaming

An additional monthly subscription of £21.28 (£25.54 inc 20% VAT) to cover all BlackBerry data roaming usage outside of the Isle of Man. This is a 12 month minimum subscription and the charge will apply whether you roam outside the Isle of Man or not during the month.**

* Sending and receiving email; reading attachments; wireless synchronisation of calendar, tasks and address book; web browsing and access to mobile applications via the BlackBerry browser are all included in the monthly subscription. However, if you use your BlackBerry as a modem and access a non-BlackBerry browser, Manx Telecom’s standard mobile data charges shall apply in addition to the BlackBerry monthly charge. 

** A fair usage limit of 5MB per month applies whilst roaming. Usage over & above this limit shall be charged at standard Manx Telecom roaming rates.
