Free Broadband upgrades and connections for all, Manx Telecom
announces
29th January 2010
Internet users on the Isle of Man have some warming winter news
following the announcement that Manx Telecom is providing free
broadband connections, free upgrades to superfast ADSL2+ and
increasing the value in each of its broadband packages as part of a
New Year triple treat.
Download speeds of up to 16 megabytes per second – twice the
speed currently experienced by most broadband customers on the
Island – are now freely available. Existing customers can upgrade
to the new superfast ADSL2+ broadband free of charge. There is also
free connection and savings of 50% on the first three months for
new customers or those currently using another provider.
It’s also good news for existing customers, as from February 1st
Manx Telecom’s popular entry level broadband service gets a 20%
increase in monthly use, while the Company’s widely used Unlimited
package is reduced by £2 a month.
Manx Telecom Product Manager, Graham Shimmin, said the new
packages coupled with free upgrades would provide an opportunity
for customers to experience the benefits of superfast
broadband.
“Our new broadband packages are quite simply bigger, better and
faster,” said Graham, adding that it would also provide customers
using dial-up facilities with the perfect time to switch to new
super fast broadband and enjoy the benefits.

Telecom should contact them on 624624 or text ‘brochure’ to
