If you only make very few calls and don't want Internet access, but simply need a line for emergency calls, this option gives you telephone service at a budget rental. Higher call charges do apply - typically twice our standard rates. (exclusions apply).

Notes for Call Charges

For calls made from a landline phone on Low User Choice tariff, a 10.8p call set-up charge applies, calls charged in 60 seconds increments (excludes free calls and fixed fee calls).  Call charges shown are per minute, include VAT, rounded up to the nearest half penny but are indicative only.

Low User Choice Exclusions

No Direct Debit discount available.

Star Services are not available on this tariff.

Low User Choice is NOT available to customers with :

• a business line (including ISDN)
• another line at the same or any other address
• a line having Broadband or Unmetered Internet Access
• a line used only as a burglar alarm
• a line that cannot make outgoing calls
• a line that cannot receive incoming calls
• a payphone
• a switchboard or PBX system

Low User Choice cannot be:

• used in conjunction with network by-pass and/or indirect access numbers
• converged with other fixed or mobile accounts
• ebilled (ebill discount is not available)
