When you host your website or email with Manx Telecom E-Biz
there are many features available to you through an administration
control panel. These include:
- The ability to add/change/delete POP3 mailboxes and
passwords
- Online FTP (File Transfer Protocol) service to move files to
and from your webspace called Folder Manager
- Backup your website either on the E-Biz server of locally on
your own computer
- ‘Webalizer’ Statistics can be setup and viewed to you can see
the basic traffic to your website. ‘Smarter Stats’ can be requested
to see more in-depth traffic to your website*
- Sub-Domains can be managed*
- Create e-mail aliases
- MySQL* database manager
- Monitor the resource usage of your site (available
Bandwidth/Webspace etc.)
- Help request ticketing system for fault reporting or support
issues, for an easy to use and more efficient support
experience

There is also a feature-rich webmail interface for managing your
email accounts; this webmail control panel allows you to access
such features as:
- Setting an auto-responder such as a confirmation that the
inbound email has been received and is being dealt with, or an out
of office message
- Setting a mail redirect to another email account
- Content Filtering so you can decide what you want flagging as
spam
- Migrate emails and folders from other accounts
- Tasks and Calendar tools
- RSS reeder to receive your important news
- Trusted Senders lists so important addresses are never trapped
as spam
- Reports so you can see statistics regarding your email
usage
The E-Biz mail platform has daily updated virus scanning for all
incoming and outgoing mails, if a virus is detected it is deleted
and you are notified. Spam filtering on all POP3 mailboxes is
standard as well as the ability for you to create your own personal
filters which will send mail to a Junk Folder on your Webmail
client.
