Important iPhone Roaming Information
Please note that switching off “data when
roaming” will only work when you are outside of the UK.
Customers who do not wish to incur data
roaming charges when in the UK should switch off mail accounts and
remove the APN, services such as Facebook, Twitter etc may poll for
updates.
To remove the APN on the iPhone select –
settings – general – network – cellular data network – APN. Delete
the information in the field and save. To re-add the APN follow the
same command and enter 3gpronto in the APN field and save.
