Plus Addressing is an advanced filtering feature for incoming emails allowing emails to be delivered to specific folders. This is useful for newsletter emails.

For example; given your email address is user@domain.com and you wish to sign up for a newsletter at examplewebsite.com and they require a valid email address to send the newsletter too. Instead of entering your email address on the signup form as user@domain.com you can enter it as user+examplewebsitenewsletter@domain.com and this emails from examplewebsite.com will be sent directly to a Newsletter folder. If the folder does not exist it can be automatically created.

• To enable Plus Addressing tick the box Enable plus addressing and select the action to take is a Plus Addressing email is received
  • Move to Folder
  • Move to Folder (if Exists)
  • Leave in Inbox
• Click Save
