Updating your Netgear Wireless-N Router's Firmware
It is recommended that you update your
router’s firmware before commencing the installation procedure.
- To do this open your Internet Browser and navigate to
http://192.168.0.1/. You will need to enter your router’s Username
and Password to gain access, by default these are:
Username: username
Password: password

- Once you are logged in, your router should perform a
Firmware Version Check automatically. If it does not then click the
Router Upgrade link in the menu on the left-hand
side of the page

- From the Router Upgrade page put a tick in the
box Check for New Version Upon Log-in and then
click the Check button. This will locate and
download the most up-to-date Firmware if your router is not already
running this.
