New Click Dial-Up Number

Changes made by the Industry Regulator, Ofcom mean that the Dial-Up number that your computer uses to access the Internet is changing.

What does this mean to me?

You should take steps to check that your computer is dialling the correct number. If your computer is not dialling the correct number by 1 September you will not be able to access the Internet.

What is the new Dial-Up Number?

The new Dial-Up number is 147008440906246.

How do I change the Dial-Up Number?

Windows computers (based on Windows Vista):

• Open Internet Options which is located in the Control Panel.
• Click the Connections tab.
• Highlight your connection and click Settings.
• In the Settings window Click Properties.
• Change the dial-up number to 147008440906246.
• Click Ok on the Settings window and then on the Properties window.

Apple computers (Based on OS-X):

• Click the Apple icon and select System Preferences.
• Click Network.
• Click the PPP tab.
• Change the Telephone Number to 147008440906246.
• Click Apply Now.
• Close the open windows.
