Network Status

16th May - Intermittent text message issue now resolved

 

We have experienced a problem over the last 24 hours with the sending and receiving of text messages.  This had caused a number of issues including repeat delivery of messages, delayed messages and messages being mixed up and delivered out of order. 

 

Mobile Voice and Data services were not affected and continued to work as normal during this time.

 

The issue has now been rectified and service is returning to normal. Manx Telecom apologises for the inconvenience this issue caused its customers. 

 

Customers have not been charged for any repeated messages which were delivered as a result of this problem.
