Free Minutes / Texts

Free minutes / texts only apply to other Manx Telecom mobiles. When available, they will be used first at anytime. If no free minutes / texts are available in an account normal text messaging and call charges will apply. Free minutes / texts cannot be used whilst roaming, normal roaming charges apply.

Free minutes / texts are valid for 15 days, after this time any unused minutes / texts will be lost.  If you top-up within the 15 day period any unused minutes / texts will not be rolled over.

Free Data

Free data will only apply on-net, i.e. when connected to Manx Telecom network. When available, free data will be used first at anytime. If no free data is available in an account normal data charging will apply, you will need to maintain a credit value in your account equivalent in value to 2MB. Free data cannot be used while roaming, data roaming charges according to roamed zone will apply, you will need to maintain a credit value in your account equivalent in value to 2MB at the data rate for the network you are utilizing.

No Bills

There are no bills with Pay As You Go. You buy vouchers to top-up your account and these are available online or by calling 154 (01624 600154 when calling from a UK fixed line or Manx Telecom pay monthly phone while roaming - charges apply)or from retailers across the Island. The minimum purchase is £5.00.

When you buy a voucher, you buy your credit in advance. Each time you make a call, send a SMS or picture message it will automatically move your account expiry date forward 180 days from the date of the call.

If no outgoing calls or messages are made in a 180 day period your account will move into an 'inactive' state. There will be no incoming or outgoing service in this state other than to emergency, helpdesk or top-up numbers.

  • You have 90 days to reactivate your account with no loss of your original credit balance. You may reactivate by entering a top-up voucher.
  • Alternatively if you wish to surrender your SIM card and SIM certificate you may redeem any remaining credit within this period. Terms and conditions apply.

If you don't do either of the above your account will be retired from the network after 90 days inactive state and all credit will be lost.
