Notice of Changes to Fibre Broadband Speeds & Annual Inflationary Price Changes Effective 1 September 2026

From 1st September 2026, two changes are taking effect:

  • We are significantly increasing the maximum speeds of a range of Fibre Broadband Services
  • Applying our annual inflationary price change of 3% to all Fixed, Mobile, Broadband and SIP tariffs, with fixed call charge rates to all destinations increasing by 1p or 3.0%, whichever is greater

Faster Fibre Broadband, Automatically

We are significantly increasing the speed of Fibre Broadband Services (see Table below). You don’t need to do anything to enjoy this speed uplift however, if you are out of contract and choose to renew, your home hub will be upgraded to support these higher speeds, with new Nokia extenders included. Another change to fibre is our approach to installation, with a dedicated home support team on hand to help optimise your in-home Wi-Fi.

Annual Inflationary Price Changes

Each year we review our prices in line with inflation on the Isle of Man. From 1 September 2026, this means a 3.0% inflationary increase, less than the annual average Retail Price Index (RPI) for the 12 months to May 2026, as reported in the Isle of Man Government Inflation report for May 2026. This increase will be applied to the tariffs listed below. This increase is set below the current rate of inflation on the Island, and we’ll continue to honour your current price until 31 August 2026. We know an inflationary price change is never welcome news and we have made every effort to keep this increase to a minimum and will continue to honour our current prices up to 31st August 2026.

A summary of the 3.0% or specific tariff increases that apply, excluding VAT, from the 1st of September 26 are as follows:

  • Fixed line rentals will increase by 3.0%
  • All call setup charges increase from 24p to 25p, this applies to Talk Over Fibre, Talk Only, and SIP/VoIP tariffs
  • Fixed call charge rates to all destinations increase by 1p or 3.0% whichever is greater

Your Right to Cancel

Because these inflationary increases may materially disadvantage some customers, our Telecommunications Licence gives you the right to cancel the affected part of your agreement. Full details of our obligations are set out in our Consumer General Terms & Conditions, clause 39.

This applies if you are within your minimum contract term and end your agreement before the contract end date as a result of this change. You can do so without an early termination charge. You can cancel your affected contract up to and including 30th September 2026. Charges will be backdated to 1st September 2026, the date on which the new rates applied.
