Our networks are designed to provide a high level of service and availability as you would expect. However, occasionally things may go wrong or we may need to do works on these networks that impact on our services. These pages let you, the customer, know what the status of our networks are and whether we have any planned works scheduled.

    Wednesday 3rd November

    Manx Telecom Engineers will be performing an upgrade on the Broadband network that will result in one or more router restarts for some customers in the areas of:

     

    Albany Road, Alexander Drive, Ballabrooie Way, Ballacottier Meadow, Ballafletcher Road, Ballakermeen Drive, Belmont Hill, Devonshire Road, Douglas Harbour, Douglas Head, Eden Park, Farmhill, Hampton Farm Estate, Hawarden Avenue, Hills Meadow area, Hillside Avenue, IOM Business Park, Kirby Farm, Loch Promenade, Lower Douglas, Middle River, Peel Road, Pulrose, Saddlestone, Snugborough Industrial Estate, Spring Valley Industrial Estate, Strand Street, Tromode Industrial Estate, Union Mills Industrial Estate, Westmorland Road, White Hoe, Willaston area.

     

    In the first instance if a router does not automatically reconnect it is suggested to reboot it before contacting your service provider

    Tuesday 9th November 2021

    Manx Telecom engineers will be performing repairs to a damaged fibre cable on South Quay Douglas between 08:00 - 16:15. During this repair window customers on Fibre in this area will lose broadband services while the work is carried out.
