Our networks are designed to provide a high level of service and availability as you would expect. However, occasionally things may go wrong or we may need to do works on these networks that impact on our services. These pages let you, the customer, know what the status of our networks are and whether we have any planned works scheduled.

  • Internet

    Tuesday 7th February - CHG0053035

    Manx Telecom will be carrying out essential planned works in the south of the island which will cause disruption to the Copper and Fibre Broadband services to customers.

    All Copper Broadband services affected will be in the areas including Port Erin, Port St Mary, Colby Village, Colby Glen, Colby Level, Cregneash, Bradda, Ballafesson, Ballakillowey, Ballakilpherick, Fleshwick, Short Road Gansey.

    All Fibre Broadband services affected will be in the areas including Port Erin, Port St Mary, Cregneash, Gansey, Colby, Ballabeg, Grenaby, Ronague, Earystane, BallaKilpheric, Ballafesson, Bradda and surrounding areas

    Maintenance Window: 07/02/2023 00:00 to 07/02/2023 07:00

    Customers in the affected areas will experience a loss in Fibre Broadband service of up to 20 minutes and a loss in Copper service for 140 minutes.

    In the first instance if a router does not automatically reconnect it is suggested to reboot it before contacting your Service Provider.

    Thursday 9th February - CHG0053036

    Manx Telecom will be carrying out essential planned works in the south of the island which will cause disruption to the Copper and Fibre Broadband services to customers.

    All Copper Broadband services affected will be in the areas including Ballabeg, Ballakaighen, Ballamodha, Ballasalla, Balthane Industrial Estate, Castletown, Derbyhaven, Fisher's Hill, Freeport Industrial Estate, Grenaby, Old Castletown (areas south of Santon), Ronague, Ronaldsway Industrial Estate and Shore Road Gansey

    All Fibre Broadband services affected will be in the areas south east of the island including Castletown, Derbyhaven, Ronaldsway, Balthane, Ballasalla, Santon, St Marks, Braaid, Eairy, Ballamodha, Cross Four Ways, Shore Road, Scarlett Point and surrounding areas

    Maintenance window: 09/02/2023 00:00:01 - 09/02/2023 07:00:00

    Customers in the affected areas will experience a loss in Fibre Broadband service for up to 20 minutes and a loss in Copper service for 140 minutes.

    Manx Telecom will be carrying out essential planned works in the North of the island which will cause disruption to the Copper and Fibre Broadband services to customers.

    All Copper Broadband services affected will be in the areas including Andreas, Ballaugh, Bride, Jurby, Maughold, Sandygate, Sulby and Ramsey (Ballure Mount, Bircham Avenue, Brookfield Avenue, Christian Street, Ellen Park, Gladstone Avenue, Jurby Road, Lezayre Road, Parliament Street, Queens Drive & West Quay)

    All Fibre Broadband services affected will be in the areas North of the island including Dhoon, Glen Mona, Maughold, Ramsey, Bride, Andreas, Jurby, Sulby, Ballaugh, Kirk Michael, Tholt y Will Glen, Snaefell and surrounding areas.

    Maintenance window: 16/02/2023 01:00:00 - 16/02/2023 06:00:00

    Customers in the affected areas will experience a loss in Fibre Broadband service for up to 20 minutes and a loss in Copper service for 70 minutes.

    In the first instance if a router does not automatically reconnect it is suggested to reboot it before contacting your Service Provider.

  • Mobile

    Monday 6th February - INC0220631

    Manx Telecom are aware of an issue on our mobile network resulting in reduced 2G/3G coverage in the Kirk Michael area.

    Engineers are working to resolve.

    Friday 10th & Saturday 11th February - CHG0052905 

    Manx Telecom will be applying upgrades to our Mobile Network resulting in Mobile Topups being unavailable for up to 8 hours between 20:00 on 10th February and 04:00 on 11th February.
