MANX TELECOM HOSTS FUTURE READY EVENT FOR LAXEY RESIDENTS
Manx Telecom invites residents from Laxey, part of Zone 3 in the Copper Switch Off programme, to join us for our next Future Ready drop-in event. It will take place at the Live at Home Digital Hub in Laxey on Thursday 10 July from 3-6pm.
Dedicated Community Partner Josh Radcliffe will be on site to provide personalised assistance and expert guidance on the transition from copper to fibre broadband. This drop-in session offers those living in Laxey the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns they may have about the upcoming network upgrade.
Josh Radcliffe, Future Ready Community Partner at Manx Telecom, said: ‘From this event, we hope to help Laxey residents navigate the broadband transition smoothly. As the switch-off continues, we want to make sure you have all the support you need along the way. It will affect your home phone, so even if you don’t use the internet you still need to take action. Whether you're facing challenges or simply have questions, we'd love to see you there and help however we can.’
The Copper Switch Off Programme brings exciting improvements to connectivity on the Isle of Man, with fibre delivering faster, more reliable broadband services to homes and businesses across the island.
No appointment is necessary for the drop-in event. Residents are encouraged to visit at their convenience between 3-6pm.
