- Manx Telecom Marg McGee Community Awards Distributes £20,000 to Local Projects

Local communities across the Island have been strengthened thanks to funding from the Manx Telecom Marg McGee Community Awards.
The bi-annual awards celebrate and support community groups that make a real difference to lives across the Isle of Man.
Named in memory of Marg McGee, a cherished former Manx Telecom employee known for her dedication to community service, it reflects a broader mission to invest in the community, fostering a stronger and more connected Isle of Man.
The 21 beneficiaries were Isle of Man Art Society, Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospice Care at Home Trust, Heroes On The Water, Isle Stand up to Suicide, Mothers' Union, Sodor and Man, Thie ny Shee project, Victim Support Isle of Man, 1st Marown Scouts Group, Girlguiding Isle of Man, Isle of Play, Onchan Pensioners Social Club, The Big Table Café, Western Men In Sheds, Boston B2N Netball Team, Isle of Man Volleyball, Isle of Man Walking Football, Peel Swimming Club, Special Olympics Isle of Man, Breast Cancer Now, Joey Dunlop Foundation, with each receiving funding to further their impactful work.
The £20,000 has facilitated a range of projects, including one year of First-Class Fibre Broadband, new kit for sports teams, and training courses so charity members can support the wider community.
